Ride or Die Products
I've tried a lot of products and I wanted to share a post about some of my very favorite ones I've found, most of which I use every single day! I love helping people find products they love and I am always interested in hearing about other people's "ride or die" products too! I would highly recommend all of the products I've listed down below! Keep reading to find out more about why I love them!
"They're Real" Mascara from Benefit Cosmetics: This product is my all time favorite mascara I have yet to find one that comes close to it! It's brush is what I love the most, It separates each individual eyelash so well, which means no clumping! This product is insanely lengthening giving you the best "false lash" look with your own real lashes! I also love how long wearing it is! there is no fallout and my lashes look exactly the same 8 hours after I've applied this mascara!
(sold at Ulta, Sephora and on Benefit's website)
Mario Badescu "Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater": First off I want to tell you this product smells amazing! I use it ALL. THE. TIME. I use it after I wash my face for some hydration, after I finish my makeup as a setting spray, when I need a mid-day refresher, and on my sponges and brushes when I want to create a more dewy look. I can visibly see a difference in my skin after I use it it really does add a "glow" to your makeup. The light mist is very hydrating as well, it's helped clear up a lot of dry redness on my skin. I love that it's made with all natural products and is seriously packed full of good stuff for your skin!
(sold at Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Ulta, Nordstrom, and on Mario Badescu's website)
Tarte's "Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint": I've talked about this product a little in a previous post but this lip paint was a serious game changer for me! It dries instantly and doesn't rub off on anything!! (yes kiss proof, drink proof, smudge proof, anything proof!) It's long wearing and has comparable qualities to lip sense, but the lip paint is like a new and improved version! haha! It is SO soft and smooth, and it's very opaque (only one coat needed!) Application is a breeze with this baby! As soon as I tried it I wanted one in every color! They seriously are amazing!
(Sold at Ulta, Sephora, and on Tarte's website)
"POREfessional" face primer from Benefit Cosmetics: This is Another favorite of mine that I use every single day! I love this primer because you can actually tell a difference in your face and your makeup when you use it! It's so silky smooth and it really does blur fine lines and imperfections! If you do have more oily skin, try the "Matte Rescue" POREfessional gel Primer to help eliminate shine!
(Sold at Ulta, Sephora, and on Benefit's website)
Smith's "Rosebud Salve": This Lip balm is my go to all day long! I have one in every bag I own! It is SO soothing and moisturizing on your lips! I love the original Rosebud scent, but it comes in some other amazing ones as well! It's available in both a tube and a tin. The tube is more convenient, but the tin is super cute and I think I'm slightly partial to it because it's the original! haha!
This one is really worth every penny!
(Sold at Ulta, Sephora, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters)
"Beauty Blender" Sponge by The Original Beauty Blender: I know this product is very popular and 99% of you are probably already aware of how great it is! But, it most definitely is a ride or die for me! I've tried many other dupes or knock offs of this applicator and although they work well, the beauty blender works the best! It's a little more expensive but it's worth it! It is so much softer and lasts a lot longer than the copy cat versions! Also if you do own a beauty blender I would highly recommend you also get the name brand cleaner to go with it!* It's amazing how much better it works than other cleaners and how easy it is to use! I use this solid cleansing bar and it gets my sponge looking brand new after every wash!
(Sold at Sephora, Macy's, Nordstrom, and on The Original Beauty Blender's website)
*Cleaner available HERE
Marc Jacobs beauty "Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner": I love using a light pink or nude color on the waterline! It makes your eyes look bigger, and it gives your eye a cleaner and more complete look! I love this pencil in particular because it is sooo soft and smooth, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all! and it also comes with a built in sharpener! The waterline is tricky because it's just that, watery! So, it's hard to find products that will actually last more than 20 minutes! This one however I've found does a fairly good job at staying put!
(Sold at Sephora)
Urban Decay's "All Nighter" Setting Spray: I use this setting spray as the finishing touch on every single look to make sure it will last! This one is a favorite of mine because it really does feel weightless, it doesn't leave any kind of residue on your face! And it seriously makes a huge difference in the life of my makeup! Also at Ulta right now the travel sized version of this is on sale! (Sold at Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, Macy's, and at Urban Decay's website)
